NYC Engagement Session - Central Park & DUMBO!
Working with this gorgeous couple for their New York City engagement photos was so fun. We moved FAST and hit a bunch of classic spots in Central Park before hopping on the subway (and snapping a few photos there) down to Brooklyn, where we headed to some gorgeous murals and then ended our session at the Brooklyn Bridge.
Can’t pass an iconic spot like Bow Bridge without stopping for a quick photo! And how lucky were we to find a cherry blossom tree!
We could spend hours shooting portraits just at Bethesda Terrace. The light there is so beautiful.
Not gonna lie, we got a couple of gawkers while we were taking some engagement portraits on the subway, along with a tourist whispering loudly to her friend, “Well THAT was interesting!”
After a quick outfit change, we headed over to the York Street Subway Station area to find these beautiful murals! More information can be found on them here: http://yukoart.com/work/yes-dumbo-mural/
If you don’t stop at Front St. and Washington St., is it even a Brookyln Bridge engagement session? We submit that it is not.
We finally ended at Pier 1 for photos with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. At first we were a little disappointed at the clouds and fog because we were hoping for a colorful sunset, but then when we saw how beautiful the skyline looked melting away into the fog… all our worries dissipated.
