Romantic Engagement Session at Napa Valley Vineyard

LB here! I am so excited to share this romantic Napa Valley engagement session with you.

I spent a ton of time daydreaming about the kinds of shots we'd be able to get at this beautiful vineyard in the sunny hills of California.

I met up with the couple at Starmont Winery & Vineyards in Napa, CA for the session. I got there a little bit early so I could wander around in the vineyard and plan where we could shoot.

I really wanted to capture the hills and mountains of the California landscape, and of course, the vineyard itself. It's so different from what I'm used to in my ancestral homeland of New Jersey, and I really wanted to show that.

I have to tell you how Han proposed to Laura. In his own words, "I proposed to her in November 2016 at our nearby vet office. I had a whole thing planned with the vet office and pretended that our dog swallowed something bad and that he swallowed a ring in the X-ray."
Isn't that the most adorable thing you ever heard? What a great (though temporarily scary) surprise proposal for a animal lover.

I feel so lucky that this wonderful profession affords me the opportunity to see the world.

It's so exciting to hear from a couple who wants a session done in a new place I've never been to, or somewhere I've traveled personally but haven't had the chance to shoot in yet. Anyway, I hope you love the shots as much as I do!
