What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony?

I think my favorite part of the ceremony was when Rob saw me. I asked Denisha, our wedding coordinator, to have Rob face the ocean instead of the staircase. He didn't see me until I started walking into the ocean gazebo. I swear the expression on his face will be my forever favorite memory from our wedding.

What were your vows like?

Prior to the wedding, we both decided we wanted to keep things short and sweet. We opted to do minimally religious and semi-traditional vows. I'm 99% sure our Reverend quoted Joey from Friends at one point.

What was your favorite moment or part of the reception?

Hmm.. there was a few! First, would be when we found a lizard hiding in the lace of my dress. That was quite the surprise! I think all the dancing and seeing everyone having such a great time was my favorite. Our wedding was small and intimate, so we were surrounded by our closest friends and family!

If you had it to do over again, is there anything you would do differently?

I wouldn't have changed anything! We LOVE Jamaica and it was only right we had our wedding there!

Do you have any budget tips for other couples?

Make a wedding binder! My friend Joanie started one for us and we ended up doing excel spreadsheets for budgeting. It helps a lot!

What advice do you have for other couples in the midst of planning a wedding?

Remember this day is about you and you fiance. Everyone can give you input but whatever you guys want should be final!

What was your favorite moment from the day?

My favorite moment was when it was all said and done. I was able to look back at what took a year to plan and finally get to call Rob my husband. We got to see all of our family together, as one, and that alone was amazing.

Maria & Josh are INCREDIBLE! We would not change a single thing. They surprised us with so many different ideas! Between Josh getting on all fours in a puddle to take photos & fixing my wedding dress, Maria knowing when we were confused and unsure so she immediately jumped into directing us. They were both simply amazing. I am SO happy we chose Inspire Me Imagery to do our photos!
