Snow, an emotional first look, festive Christmas vibes, a charismatic officiant, a unity candle ceremony, and a choreographed first dance in a beautiful ballroom reception brought this wedding together in Mountain Lakes, NJ. Also, all wedding venues should have hot pretzel sticks and cheese dip like the Mansion at Mountain Lakes. Just saying. They were AMAZING.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony?
My favorite thing I about the ceremony was the applause I received upon entering. (Matthew)

What advice do you have for other couples in the midst of planning a wedding?
Get the little things done early. Remember that DIY projects may sound like they will save you money, but its definitely worth it to buy some things and save yourself some time.

What was the best advice you were given?
The best advice we were given was to say hello to everyone during cocktail hour. We were also told to stop and take in the moment. I would definitely recommend that to other couples. Seeing all your friends and family there to celebrate you is an amazing experience!

If you had it to do over again, is there anything you would do differently?
Honestly no we wouldn’t. I wish I could relive the day all over again!
What was your favorite moment or part of the reception?
We did an anniversary dance, and that was awesome! The whole reception was great!
