Happy Father's Day!
Wedding days are about so much more than just a couple starting a new life together. We witness so many important moments between so many people over the course of one short day. We try our best to tell ALL the stories that happens during a wedding day through our images. We asked our past couples to share a photo we took for them of their dads, and tell us why it is special to them. We were excited to see what photos showed up, but didn't expect how moved we would be by hearing why each photo mattered.
Eileen Margaret - This photo is special for me because it was my wedding day and I couldn’t picture anyone else walking me down the isle 💕👰🏻
Nicole Ericson - We took dance lessons, which admittedly weren't sure we'd get through after the first one. He said I was being bossy or something... But I can't imagine where I might have gotten that 🤔. We made it through and enjoyed it, but during the dance I winced and said, "I'm stepping on my dress... that's all that's under my feet." He took it from there and we winged the rest and no one was the wiser. We danced to Sugar Ray "Someday." I told him at 12 on the way to a softball tournament that was the song we'd dance to at our wedding. Thanks for capturing these moments!!!!

April Meyers - Our father daughter dance. My dad had when much later in life, so from the time I could understand death he would tell me he wouldn’t be alive to see me get married. But he did! (And he’s still here enjoying his grandkids too)

Jenny Halat - My Pops had it together pretty much all day, but the second we started walking down the aisle, he became a blubbering mess! I adore this photo because it shows just how much he loves me without saying anything.

Emily Ebo - My dad and I had a difficult time choosing a song for our dance at my wedding. We finally came to a decision to dance to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, only to have the DJ (who was actually absolutely amazing) play a completely different song! We laughed throughout the entire song because of how funny we thought it was. We still laugh about that dance!

Rae Drews - Not me, but my husband and our daughter. She was flower girl for my brothers wedding. Her in a little white dress dancing with her Daddy, at age 3, with such joy on their faces. A precursor to her wedding day many many years from now.

Jen Povio - My dad , lovingly known as Pops (by my brothers and me) or Papa Bear (by my daughters), walking me down the aisle. We only got a few minutes together during the wedding just he and I, and the look on his face says it all. What a great day and great guy.
