Skylands Manor: The Wedding of Jill & Sean
The Skylands Manor is such an incredible setting for a wedding. The historic and richly appointed castle, the grounds overflowing with greenery, all of it. Our brains were exploding all day with ideas for different shots to take. What an amazing experience it was. Jill and Sean were so sweet, and totally indulged us whenever we wanted to take them here or there for a portrait. It was pretty much as perfect a day as we could have hoped for. Thank you, Jill and Sean, having us there.

The grounds at Skylands Manor are beautiful. They're huge, and there are a thousand spots to choose from for portraits of the bride and groom.
This couple was so in love, and they were only too happy to take time to get romantic for some portraits.

We found an ivy covered wall around the back of the building, near where the deliveries are dropped off. Even back there, there is beauty.
We love when couples incorporate photographs in their decor. It shows the importance of photography at times like this, and honors the people in the picture frames so beautifully.

This wedding ceremony was short and sweet (rain was clearly on its way), and full of emotion and meaning. We loved the knot tying at the end.

We had to take just a few more portraits after the ceremony, once the risk of guests seeing the bride too early had passed. Skylands Manor makes one heck of a background, no?
